Pharmacy worker arrested after drug thefts

PELHAM, GA (WALB) - A pharmacy technician in Pelham is accused of stealing prescription drugs.

30 year-old Beverly Beck was arrested December 16th.

Investigators say she was caught on video stealing hydrocodone tablets from her employer, the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Pelham.

Investigators say they found a small quantity when they searched her home, but they believe as many as 18-hundred may have been taken.

Beck is no longer employed at the Rite Aid. She's charged with theft by taking and illegal possession of hydrocodone.
