IRWIN CO., GA (WALB) - Ben Hill County Sheriff Bobby McLemore says one person has been killed and two others injured in a crash on Hwy. 125.

It happened a little after 1 p.m. Tuesday about 3 miles north of Irwinville.

Witnesses at the scene said a minivan driven by 53 year old Brent Jacobs crossed the center line of the highway and hit a pickup truck head on.

Officials say Jacobs was killed in the accident. Two people in the pickup truck, 35 year old William Folds and his wife Angela were injured. William Folds was flown from the scene to a hospital where he is listed in critical condition. His wife is recovering at a Macon hospital.

64 year old Andrew Harris, who was driving a Chevy Tahoe that struck the van after the initial crash, was not injured.
