ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Investigators believe someone intentionally set a south Albany home on fire.

Albany firefighters responded to this home in the 700 block of Holloway Avenue around one o'clock this morning.

Investigators say the loveseat on the back porch was set on fire.

Firefighters were able to quickly put the flames out, before it engulfed the home which was empty.

Neighbors say no one had been living at the home for some time. Fire officials say most of the damage was to the outside walls and attic of the home.
