COLQUITT CO., GA (WALB) - A new project highlighting South Georgia agricultural products aims to harvest more tourism dollars for our area.
The state's Georgia Grown marketing program now includes the Georgia Grown Trail.
On the trial you can visit sites such as u-pick farms, dairies, and restaurants that feature local products.
Gin Creek in Colquitt County is one stop.
"At Gin Creek we have lodging for people to spend the night and you can tour the vineyards as well as the wineries all along the trail and other places that have produce and different crops that's grown like that," said Richie DeMott co-owner of Gin Creek.
The trail stretches across 157 miles through 9-counties from Lakeland to Fort Gaines.
