ALBANY, GA (WALB) - South Georgia's famed Christian filmmaking brothers say they want to share their experience with future filmmakers.

Sherwood Baptist Ministers Alex and Stephen Kendrick are forming their own independent film company.

Their four Sherwood Pictures films have been seen by millions of people around the world.

They shot "Flywheel" , "Facing the Giants",  "Fireproof"  and "Courageous" with mostly volunteer church members.

They plan to use their new company to train a new generation of Christian movie makers.

Stephen Kendrick said "For us to begin expanding what we are doing with Kendrick Brothers Productions, so that we are incorporating other film makes from around the nation. And we're helping them so that when we are done with the movies, they've got more training to go out and do what we are doing."

The Kendricks will remain Associate Pastors at Sherwood but say their future movies could be made elsewhere.
