Huge turnout expected for early voting in Georgia

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Statewide early voting in Georgia began Saturday and the Candy Room in Albany has had a big turnout so far.

Each county has polling locations that will be open from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Voters may find their advanced voting poll location by visiting the "My Voter Page" by clicking here.

Voters may also access a copy of their Sample Ballot to assist them with their candidate research prior to arriving at the polls.

Early Voting in Albany will be at the Candy Room located at 125 Pine Avenue next to the RiverQuarium.

General Statewide Early Voting Turnout:

-Number of ballots cast:                                       688,388

- Number of ballots voted in person:                    568,057

- Number of mail-in ballots returned:                   120,331

- Number of mail-in ballots outstanding:                97,413
