Gun owners keeping close eye on election

LEE CO., GA (WALB) - While guns are often the target of burglars, legal gun owners are paying close attention to the upcoming presidential election.

Some gun owners worry that the current administration will tighten gun laws before the election.
A Lee County gun dealer says he see better sales around election time.
"What happens in the marketplace is there is a pretty high degree of uncertainty," said Steven Drew with Georgia Loan & Gun. "Usually, sales will surge prior to an election because people aren't sure what the guy that might be elected will do when he gets into the White House."

Drew says that he thinks stricter gun laws will not stop violence.
