Albany church burglarized for fifth time

A South Albany church is hit by criminals for the fifth time in less than a year.
The Pastor says crime will not drive them out of the neighborhood they serve.
The Pastor of A New Beginnings Faith Ministry on Jeffries Drive she found the sanctuary burglarized Sunday morning when she arrived.
Someone broke in a side door vandalized the pastor's office and broke into the donation box.
Pastor Jacquline Roberts says it's the fifth time since May crooks have stripped air conditioners or tried to break into church property.
"We're looking at this area as being targeted. We're not looking at it in a natural, we're looking at it as a spiritual thing to stop the work of the Lord. But we're here to stay," said Pastor Jacquline Roberts, A New Beginning Faith Ministry.
Pastor Roberts says the church will improve security and ask neighboring property owners to improve lighting in the area.
