City of Pearson issues boil water advisory

PEARSON, Ga. (WALB) - Due to the water being off in the city of Pearson, a boil water advisory is in effect immediately for residents and businesses in the town.

The city of Pearson advises all to:

* Boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth or washing dishes.

* Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one full minute before using.

* Use bottled water if boiling is not possible.

This advisory will remain in effect until further notice, city officials said.
