Woman found dead at King’s Inn hotel, police say

Her body is being taken for autopsy.

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A woman was found dead at the King’s Inn in Albany on Friday afternoon.

According to Albany Police, at around 1 p.m., officers responded to the hotel.

Police say 36-year-old Whitney Nolasco-Gomez was found dead by a friend. There was no sign of foul play, police say.

“Due to the nature in which Gomez was found, it appears to be an overdose,” APD said in a release.

Her body is being taken for autopsy.
