DOUGLAS, Ga. (WALB) - The family of the 2-year-old who died after accidentally shooting himself in a Walmart parking lot in Douglas on July 3 has set up a GoFundMe.

The fundraiser was set up by one of Nakyzi Odums’ grandmothers to help pay for his burial.

According to the description, donations will not only pay for the cost of the burial but allow the parents to “grieve properly.”

“He smiled brightly, laughed wholeheartedly, loved unconditionally,” the description said.

So far, $45 out of $5,000 has been raised.
