Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers honors National Caregivers Day
AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) - The Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers (RCI) will honor and celebrate the invisible frontline – family caregivers – for National Caregivers Day!
This National Caregivers Day will be held on Friday, February 16.
Every day, 53 million Americans selflessly dedicate themselves to caring for someone who is aging, ill, or disabled - providing unwavering support, comfort, and assistance. Caregivers play a vital role in our community, yet their tireless efforts often go unnoticed.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Reach out to a caregiver you know. Whether it’s a handwritten note, an email, or a phone call, an expression of gratitude can brighten their day.
- Make a gift to RCI in honor of a caregiver. Your support helps provide essential resources and programs to family caregivers and supports our efforts to strengthen the systems that serve them.
- Share messages of appreciation on your social media platforms when you tag @rcicaregiving and use the hashtags #ThankACaregiver or #NationalCaregiversDay. Access our social media toolkit.
