ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Sharon Subadan’s final day as the Albany city manager will be Friday.
Albany officials said they are moving forward in the search for the new city manager.
City leaders said they have narrowed their search for a head hunter company to three firms.
Commissioners said next week they plan to pick the firm that will manage their search for the next city manager of Albany.
“The goal is, is to select a firm, a firm that will go out and solicit resumes, solicit applications. Really that firm would bring us kind of the top candidates for us to consider,” said Commissioner Chad Warbington.
Warbington hopes to have a city manager in place in a couple of months if not sometime this summer.
Steven Carter will begin his first day as the interim city manager on Monday.
