To be able to stay in the place she’s been able to call home for a couple of years now, means a lot.

”It just brings a lot of joy out of my family, and not only my family but for myself, you know I never really thought I would come over here, from the beginning of you know signing with Albany Tech, I would always tell my teammates you know I would go to Albany State you know, they would always be like are you going to make it over there, I’m like probably, you know working hard over here and Coach Williams as well, working hard with me, what is there not to be excited about,” said Castillo.

A big day for Albany Tech Women’s Basketball, as a new journey begins for four of their best.
