Worth Sheriff wants man who stole from grieving family

SYLVESTER, Ga. (WALB) - The Worth County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a wanted man.

Collin Anthony Terrell, aka “A. J.,” 29, is wanted on burglary and theft by taking warrants.

Worth Co.Sheriff Don Whitaker tells WALB that Terrell is wanted for burglarizing a home on the day the lady of the house was buried.  She and her husband had been in the hospital with Covid. She died, and the husband was still hospitalized, so sick that he could not attend his wife’s funeral.

The sheriff’s office said he is described as 5′11, 200 pounds, and has hazel eyes and brown hair. He also has a skull and smiley face tattoo on his right lower arm.
