TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) - Two out of the three suspects indicted for the high-profile murder of a 15-year-old Tifton girl pleaded not guilty Friday.
Autumn Connell was killed back in November in the 1000 block of Lee Avenue.
Chad Jones and Kristopher Jennings both pleaded not guilty in court Friday via their attorneys, according to the district attorney’s office.
The two were indicted on felony murder and several counts of aggravated assault in connection to her death.
Jacorian Jones was also indicted on those same charges. He was not in court Friday because he did not have representation.
Tifton Chief Judge Bill Rehindhart is allowing Jones to seek representation in 10 days and after that, he will have an arraignment.
