ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany Police Department needs the public’s help identifying three suspects in a shooting that happened at an East Albany gas station.
The incident happened on Dec. 29 at the Woodalls on E. Oglethorpe Boulevard.
Police responded to the store in reference to a shooting, according to an APD incident. Bloodstains were found but nothing further, the report states.
Later, while at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, police saw a car with a shattered window pull in and a man inside was shot.
The victim told police he was at the store and he saw a “situation.” He went up to the store window to buy something and then he heard a single gunshot and noticed he was shot.
