Americus police on the hunt for wanted sex offender

AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) - The Americus Police Department needs the community’s’ help finding a wanted man, according to a release by the agency.
Police said Prelvis Maurice McKenzie, 39, has active warrants for failure to register as a sex offender.
Anyone with information on McKenzie’s whereabouts is asked to call the Americus Police Department at (229) 924-3677. People with information on his immediate location is asked to call 911.
