ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Some Albany residents are under a boil water notice until further notice, according to the city.
Residents that live in the 100 and 200 blocks of Jefferson Street are under the boil water notice. The city said those that live at an apartment complex at Broad and Jefferson streets are most impacted.
“The line will be repaired as fast as possible and service will be restored, but customers should boil the water before consuming it in any way,” city officials said. “We should have the lab results back in approximately 24 hours after the sample is taken.”
