ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - An Albany man has been charged after threatening a campaign worker on Thursday around 1 p.m., according to the Albany Police Department (APD).
Police said a campaign worker walked up to the home of Derek Dubose, 49, and left a campaign flyer. At some point, Dubose walked out of his home, saw the worker, yelled a racial slur, then threatened him, according to APD.
When officers arrived, Dubose was arrested and taken to the Law Enforcement Center to be questioned by investigators.
He is being charged with terroristic threats and acts and has been taken to the Dougherty County Jail.
