ASHBURN, Ga. (WALB) - Turner County Schools is gearing up for all of its students to switch to virtual learning amid an increase in COVID-19 cases.
The school system said it has seen a significant increase in COVID numbers at Turner County Elementary School. Students at Turner Elementary will go to virtual learning on Dec. 10.
On Dec. 14, Turner County middle and high schools will go to virtual learning.
“This means all students will be learning from home through our virtual platforms,” the school system said in a Facebook post. “Fortunately, we have planned for this scenario and are ready to quickly make this transition.”
