CORDELE, Ga. (WALB) - Crisp County High School’s head baseball coach has resigned.

An open records request reveals David Lamberth left the school system for personal reasons on Oct. 30.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is also investigating allegations involving a Crisp County High School teacher and a student.

Right now, we don’t know what those allegations are.

We also don’t know if Lamberth’s resignation and the investigation into the student and teacher allegations are connected.

This is a developing story and WALB News 10 will provide updates as more information comes in.
