Programming note: WALB’s Friday afternoon newscasts

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A number of Friday’s newscasts on WALB News 10 will be affected because of the showing of the U.S. Golf Open.
There will not be the 4 p.m. hour, 5 p.m. hour and 6 p.m. newscast on WALB News 10 NBC.
The 6 p.m. newscast will air on WALB News 10 on ABC.
Programming changes will also impact Friday’s showing of Days of Our Lives at 1 p.m.
On Saturday, there will be no 6 p.m. newscast on NBC or ABC on Saturday. NBC will be pre-empted by Golf (U.S. Open) and ABC will be pre-empted by College Football (UCF @ GA Tech).
