Voters pick Democratic candidate to face Perdue in Ga. Senate seat race

ATLANTA (WALB) - Voters have elected Jon Ossoff as the Democratic nominee for the Georgia Senate seat to face incumbent and Republican David Perdue in November, according to the AP.

Perdue is the lone Republican on the ballot.

In total, seven Democrats sought the nomination.

The other six running for the nomination were Sarah Riggs Amico, Marckeith DeJesus, James Knox, Tricia Carpenter McCracken, Maya Smith and Teresa Tomlinson.
