CAMILLA, Ga. (WALB) - Bainbridge Public Safety (BPS) was asking for the public’s help finding an armed robbery suspect they said was armed and dangerous.

Just before 1:00 Wednesday, officials reported that Travis Donaldson, aka “Buddu,” 34, was in custody. BPS officers located him at a residence on Japonica Drive.

He was being sought for armed robbery and other pending felony charges.

BPS officials said Donaldson was seen Tuesday morning in Bainbridge near Briarwood Apartments.

The Camilla Police Department was also looking for Donaldson in connection to a robbery that happened at a Family Dollar.

Donaldson was released from Georgia Department of Corrections in November 2019 after serving a 10-year sentence for robbery charges, according to police.
