ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Dougherty County inmate who escaped from work detail Friday was captured Saturday afternoon.
Sean Todd Kimmel was arrested at a residence in the 600 block of Pick Street in Dougherty County.
Working together, county and city law enforcement say they responded to an anonymous tip which led to the arrest.
Kimmel was sentenced to 20 days in jail and he had only served eight days when he jumped from a work truck in the 100 block of Flint Avenue in Albany and ran into the woods.
Charges related to the escape are pending, according to a release.
