UPDATE: Victim identified in shooting near Hugh Mills Stadium

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The victim in Friday night’s shooting that happened near Hugh Mills Stadium around 10:25 has been identified.

Dorien McKenzie Judge, 18, was shot in an alley behind the 700 block of West Society Avenue, across the street from the stadium.

After being shot, Judge managed to drive his vehicle across the street where buses were parked, APD reported.

Judge’s vehicle then hit a 14-year-old girl and then he ran into the back of a bus, police said.

The Dougherty County School System posted on Facebook that the 14-year-old was a student and had non-life-threatening injuries.

An adult male (not a DCSS student) was injured in a shooting that took place in the alley of a nearby neighborhood...

APD said Judge died from his injuries and the 14-year-old was taken to the hospital for treatment.

According to police, no other injuries were reported.

The is an active investigation and police are questioning witnesses.
