Judge Goss was appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal to serve as a judge on the Court of Appeals of Georgia on August 1, 2018.

Foul play is not suspected at this time, according to police.

Coroner Michael Fowler says he hopes to have more answers in the case by Monday afternoon.

He says “well tomorrow morning we’ll be carrying him to the crime lab to look at it a little bit more closer and we should have more of a definitive answer tomorrow after we come back from the crime lab but we want to do a thorough investigation and cover all of our bases.”

This is an active and ongoing investigation. This is a developing story and we will update as more information becomes available.
