ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - An Albany man charged in his wife’s death was found guilty Friday.
David Kelly was found guilty on all counts in the connection to the 2017 death of Diane Kelly, his wife.
Kelly was found guilty of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during commission of felony.
The jury took 45 minutes to deliberate.
Sentencing will be at a later date.
Prosecutors said the state will request a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
Kelly was charged with malice and felony murder, among other charges.
