THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - A Thomas County man was in jail twice within 24 hours of each arrest — the second time facing several felony charges.
Kwantreus Duncan was in possession of molly, ecstasy, a gun and other drug related objects, according to investigators.
Duncan was granted bond Tuesday afternoon.
Thomas County Narcotics Unit Commander Louis Schofill said seeing these dangerous drugs is concerning.
Drugs like molly come in waves, Schofill pointed out, but it has yet to spike in Thomas County. However, Schofill said the combination of guns and drugs has increased.
“When people bring guns into the mix, it just makes the job more dangerous. So, we do need to separate that as much as possible and remove those people or those guns from society," Schofill said.
Schofill said cases where both guns and drugs are be seized minimizes the chances for a spike in drug activity.
