Arlington police chief turns in his resignation

ARLINGTON, Ga. (WALB) - Arlington’s police chief has given his resignation to the city.

Arlington Mayor Raymond Williams confirmed that Chief Donald Bryant submitted his letter of resignation Friday.

Arlington’s Police Department once again got to full staff in April, after operating with one officer for an extended period of time.

No successor for the chief’s position has been named at this time.
