ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The man accused in a Sylvester home invasion that led to a man’s death was found not guilty, according to District Attorney J.D. Hart.
Eric Brown was acquitted on four charges, including felony murder and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Brown was one of three facing charges in Dontavious Rutland’s death back in November 2016.
Brown’s defense said he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
This is a developing story and we will update as more information becomes available.
