LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - Three Lee County High School students are looking to take their skills to the collegiate level.

Which brought them to signing day.

Monday, the basketball players signed letters of intent for three different colleges.

All with the goal to make their new team even better.

Javian Johnson is now one step closer to becoming East Georgia State College Bobcat.

“It’s a blessing. Not many people get to do this. So, I’m just blessed for the opportunity that’s given," said Johnson.

Jeremiah Engram is taking his talents to LaGrange College, and Reaquon Thomas is moving on to Albany Tech.

The Trojans will use this off season to rebuild.
