CAMILLA, GA (WALB) - The Georgia Southwestern Lady Canes will be getting a gem on the court next season.
As the Westwood’s Karlie Jones, decides GSW is home.
Jones made it official this afternoon.
The Canes will be hoping that the two time state champion can help lead the way in the future.
Jones was a 3 time, region 3-AA player of the year, and recorded over a thousand points in her high school career.
Jones hopes to help the Canes find some bling as well.
“It’s definitely a great feeling," said Jones. "Especially since I had the opportunity to win state at that gym. And I went and played many summer camps at that gym. So, I feel like it’s a second home for me. So, I feel like I feel very comfortable there and it’s a great experience that I get to go and play my college career there.”
Newly named head coach Justin Payne seemed very excited to have Jones aboard.
