Wild Adventures aims to bring in more tourists

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Wild Adventures Theme Park is planning to bring more tourists and revenue to the area with its new partnership with McDonald’s.

All throughout the month of May, participating McDonald’s will include a Wild Adventures child’s ticket with every Happy Meal sold in South Georgia and North Florida.

Wild Adventures Spokesperson Adam Floyd said the goal is to get people from all over to come and visit.

“Absolutely. You know Wild Adventures was just named the number five most affordable theme parks in the country. It’s an incredible value. It’s a great place and we want to share that with as many families as possible," Floyd said. “With this partnership with McDonald’s, we’re really making that a reality for families throughout the region.”

Floyd said they will also be using this initiative to give back the community.

The park will be donating $1 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities for each ticket redeemed up to $5,000.

Parents can use the happy meal tickets through July 31 with the price of an adult ticket.
