Took down number 2 seed Greenbrier in three games

Trojans are on the move in the playoffs

LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - Well over on the diamond, the Trojans baseball team continues to upset teams in the playoffs.

As they now hope for the same result against Pope.

The Trojans got it done on the road once again.

They took down Greenbrier in three games and is now getting ready for their next challenge.

The Trojans knew the road would be tough, but are coming together to defy the odds.

“This group of guys is very resilient,"said head baseball coach Brian Trivette. "Like we’ve said before, there’s no situations been too big for them. We’ve had contributions from all kinds of guys who didn’t anticipate being in the spot they were, but showed up big. Just playing as a unit, playing strong together and truly believing that every time we step on the field, the guys believe we can get the W.”

The Trojans will be heading to Pope for the Elite Eight.

They face off Wednesday at 4 P.M.
