DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) - Three men were jailed in Coffee County recently on multiple felony charges, following a violent robbery in April.
Early in the morning on Thursday April 4, 2019, three men entered a residence on Otter’s Way. One of the men and struck the homeowner several times in the head with a shotgun, which had been taken from a bedroom in the residence.
The perpetrators got away in a white Ford Ranger, and the victim was taken to Coffee Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Following an investigation by Coffee County detectives, Kadeem Jones, Christopher Carpenter, and Ryan Rish were ultimately arrested.
When deputies were trying to arrest Rish on Sunday May 5, 2019, he ran off into a wooded area. They ran him down, and got him in hand cuffs. Rish was charged with obstruction of an officer and carrying a concealed weapon.
Rish was also charged with First degree burglary in connection to the April incident.
Jones was charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, and First degree burglary, and Carpenter faces one count of first degree burglary.
