ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Top employers from a variety of industries were at Goodwill's job fair Tuesday.
People were able to come inside the Goodwill Career Center and meet these businesses and give them their resumes.
Marie Darsey, Career Center manager, said it feels good to be able to host this job fair so those unemployed can see their options.
“They come in and they get registered with us, which is a five-minute process, then they go through a brief orientation with us where we talk about all the services we have,” Darsey said.
Darsey said the Career Center also offers resume help and other resources to help you find a job.
“We also offer help with interviewing skills, how to dress for success and how to make that good first impression so that you can land the job you want,” Darsey said.
Darsey said for anyone who is actively looking for employment to call Goodwill in Albany or stop by the Career Center.
“We also have a calendar of events posted at the front desk they can come get registered with us and we email them to let them know about current classes and job fairs that we have in the future," Darsey said.
