Police release video of South Albany convenience store shooting

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police released video of the shooting of a customer outside Brothers Corner Store in South Albany Monday night.

In the footage, you see the victim, Aaron Alexander, 51, get out of his blue truck and walk inside the store.

As Alexander walks back to his truck a few minutes later, you see a person climb out of the driver's door, and Alexander appears to confront him.

Then another man in a white shirt runs up behind Alexander and appears to hold him at gun point.

You then see Alexander fall to the ground as he was climbing back in his truck to leave.

Shaquille Hall, 23, is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during certain crimes.

He is being held without bond after his first court appearance Wednesday morning.

Police said a 15-year-old male is the other person charged in the shooting.

Alexander was released from the hospital after treatment.
