LOWNDES CO., GA (WALB) - A second crash has occurred on I-75 after a four-car wreck happened early Thursday morning, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP).

Troopers don’t suspect these two accidents were related.

Two semi-trucks were involved in the crash, which happened between Exit 22 in Valdosta and Exit 29 in Hahira around 11 a.m.

Both were headed south and one truck slowed down and the other ran into the back of that truck, GSP troopers said.

This resulted in that driver being flown to Tallahassee Memorial after being trapped in the cab of the truck.
