THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - Thomas County deputies are on the hunt for two men they said robbed a convenience store.
Investigators said despite the suspects being armed, no one was injured.
Just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, two men walked into the Speedway Food Mart in Thomasville, according to investigators.
Deputies said one of the suspects held the clerk down while the other suspect took money from the cash register. They said witnesses told them the suspects drove off in a white SUV.
Thomas County Sheriff’s Office Captain Steve Jones said armed robberies aren’t frequent in Thomas County. He said in cases like this, law enforcement relies on your help.
“People in the community who recognize parts of the description or what we’ve shown in video, to give us the information. There’s no piece of information that’s too small to ignore,” said Jones.
Currently, Jones said they haven’t been able to identify or locate the suspects.
