Meet the artist at Albany Museum of Art’s Winter Reception

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Later this month, the Albany Museum of Art will give you a chance to meet the artist behind the brush.

During the Winter Reception, you can meet artists Masud Olufani, Mike Landers and Benjamin Britton.

Paula Williams, the executive director, said she’s excited because it allows the community to come out and meet different artists instead of just looking at their art.

“We really like for the community to have an opportunity to interact with the artist because sometimes looking at the work on the wall is very different from having the opportunity to speak with the artist,” said Williams.

The event will be Feb. 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
