Albany police search for 2016 armed robbery suspect

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany police are asking you to be on the lookout for a man wanted in a 2016 armed robbery.

The Albany Police Department said Timothy Bernard Jackson, 28, is wanted for armed robbery and false imprisonment.

According to APD, Jackson is wanted in connection to an armed robbery at a motel in the 300 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard.

According to the original police report, the victim met a woman at a club and went back to her room. While in the room with the woman, the victim told police that two men came in with guns, tied him up, taped his mouth shut and demanded money.

The victim reported that the suspects took $10, two credit cards, his cell phone, his driver’s license, social security card and his black 2014 Chrysler 200.

Jackson is 5′5″ and about 140 pounds. His last known address was in College Park, just outside of Atlanta.
