PELHAM, GA (WALB) - A Pelham man was arrested for child pornography on Thursday. He and his wife are also facing a charge of bestiality, according to the Pelham Police Department (PPD).
Police said Michael Scott King, 40, and his wife, Tina Marie King, 42, were both arrested after officers and United States Homeland Security investigators searched their home in the 300 block of Sellers Street on Thursday.
Police Chief Nealie McCormick said the search warrant was obtained after a joint investigation between the Pelham Police Department and Homeland Security into the distribution of child pornography and possession.
During the investigation, officials discovered Michael had been sharing pornographic images of children over internet-based services, according to PPD.
McCormick said “a plethora of pornographic images involving children” were discovered during their search.
Police said they also found images and video of Michael and Tina involved in sexual acts with a family pet.
Michael was charged with possession of child pornography, while he and Tina were both charged with bestiality, according to McCormick.
