ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Dougherty County Library wants to help you know how to put your best foot forward when applying for a new job.
The library offers opportunities where people can come in and ask for one on one help with creating a cover letter and résumé for jobs.
Christina Shepherd, the head of reference for the library, said that a lot of people do not realize how helpful this can be for the community.
“The library is a free source, so why not take advantage of these things that we have? And it’s not going to cost you anything and it should better your outlook and help within the community," said Shepherd.
Shepherd said you can stop by the library to get a schedule of all the classes.
