Who we are.
LaGrange College at Albany is an extension of LaGrange College in LaGrange, GA. In Albany, LaGrange College offers a degree-completion program for non-traditional students. LaGrange College is Georgia's oldest private institution of higher learning. Affiliated with the United Methodist Church, the college was ranked as one of the top ten "best values" among Southern liberal arts schools by U.S. News and World Report. The College opened its doors in Albany in 2000.
How does LC at Albany work?
LC at Albany enables working students to continue their careers while at the same time completing a Bachelor of Arts degree or Master of Arts degree. All courses are taught at night to a small group of 12 or fewer. The curriculum is accelerated. Students attend class one night per week from 6pm to 10pm.
What degree would I receive?
Students can earn a Bachelor of Arts degree and/or a Master of Arts degree with a major in Organizational Leadership. We believe emerging leaders, managers, and administrators would benefit from an Organizational Leadership degree. This major provides hands-on experience in strategic planning and management, servant leadership, conflict management, negotiation, communication (both written and verbal), and diversity training. Our degree will help you understand how effective leadership underlies all successful businesses and industries.
Who are our students?
The students of LaGrange College at Albany are non-traditional. They are adults ranging in ages of 20 to 60 years. Our students represent a wide variety of vocations and disciplines. Our students work in Health Care, Social Service, Civil Service, Law Enforcement, Information Technology, Education, Manufacturing and Technology.

LaGrange College at Albany also hosts periodic information sessions at the aforementioned address on a regular basis. The packet contains admission and financial aid applications.
