On tonight's Most Wanted, a brazen copper thief caught on video.
Surveillance tape shows the guy slowly drives up in a White Lincoln to a house on Hilltop Drive Tuesday morning.
He's in no big hurry. He gets out, strolls over to a gate in the backyard, walks in, grabs handfuls of copper wire and begins loading up the trunk of his car.
In all he made six trips back and forth, all the while being videotaped.
You see, the owners had a surveillance camera running because they've been theft victims before.
So they took this video to Southeastern Aluminum where the thief sold the copper for $102. He was identified as 21 year old Brandon Merritt.
Police found his car the next day over on Friar Tuck Lane.
Now, they want to find Merritt. Do you know him or know where he is? If you do, you should call Albany Crimestoppers.
Not only will you help get a crook off the streets, you could get a reward of up to one thousand dollars.
The number is 229-436-TIPS.
