Remember 37-year-old Spencer Allen Corbin of Cordele? He was wanted on methamphetamine charges. Our alert viewers helped capture him Sunday afternoon.
Corbin walked into the Cordele Home Depot store and an employee immediately recognized him as one of WALB's Most Wanted.
The employee alerted co-workers, they called police, and even instructed cashiers at the store to stall if Corbin tried to check out before the cops got there.
When Cordele police showed up, Corbin ran, but they caught him inside the store.
Turns out it was a two-fer for police. They also arrested the man with Corbin on a probation warrant.
So excellent work to the folks at Home Depot in Cordele!
