Albany -- An Albany mother got 120 days in jail and 10 years probation for making a scene at her child's school.
Thirty-year-old Rebecca Camp apparently screamed, cursed and threatened the teacher in front of students. She pleaded guilty to ten counts of disorderly conduct, terroristic threats, and disrupting a school.
Prosecutors say February 14 and 16th Camp went to Sylvester Road Elementary School, and confronted her child's teacher while the students were in the classroom. She was mad because she said the teacher had called her child a fool.
Dougherty District Attorney Ken Hodges says "this woman went into the classroom while the children were there, screaming obscenities at the teacher, threats at the teacher, and then returned two days later doing the same thing, even pushing one of the administrators."
Camp will serve her 120 day jail sentence on weekends, taking more than a year to complete.
