Baker County - - A Baker County church demolished during the tornado isn't letting the storm get in its way.
St. Matthews Baptist Church resumed services Sunday. Pleasant Grove allowed the displaced church to use it's sanctuary for worship services.
In fact, St. Matthews held a special recognition for its missionaries Sunday, a program the church planned well before the storm hit.
"Everybody was kind of emotional a few days ago but today it was church as usual we came to just give God thanks for our being here and were just prepared and getting ready to move on," says Pastor Henry Hogan.
After church, members gathered at the destroyed building to pray. Pleasant Grove will allow St. Matthews to continue using its building for now.
